Next Yacht Group launches “Next AI-Integrated System” the first local-first AI assistant for luxury yachts
In a world premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in Florida, the Viareggio-based shipyard unveils an Artificial Intelligence system capable of interacting directly with the yacht — enhancing the Owner’s experience and supporting the crew, all without the need for an internet connection.
Developed in collaboration with AI Technologies and YES Group, and fully integrated with onboard systems to ensure the highest standards of privacy, security, and reliability, the Next AI-Integrated System can be seamlessly managed through the new proprietary My AB and My Maiora apps.

A digital concierge that knows every detail of the yacht, assisting both Owner and crew in everyday operations while guaranteeing safety, privacy, and uninterrupted functionality — even without internet or cloud access.
This is the latest innovation in Artificial Intelligence applied to the yachting world by Next Yacht Group, the Italian company behind the AB Yachts and MAIORA brands, which will showcase the new system aboard the AB 110 during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), from October 29 to November 2, 2025.
The Next AI-Integrated System is the first proprietary local-first AI platform fully installed on board.
Developed in partnership with AI Technologies, a leading Italian company specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and integrated with onboard systems by YES Group, a System Integrator with long-standing expertise in the nautical sector, this innovative assistant allows full control of all yacht functions — from lighting and climate to entertainment and living scenarios — as well as access to essential data such as fuel and water levels, energy consumption, alarms, and maintenance schedules.
Operating entirely offline, it guarantees data protection and immediate, consistent response times.
This breakthrough marks a new step in the Group’s ongoing path toward digital transformation and technological innovation.
On modern yachts, dozens of independent systems coexist — from automation to safety and entertainment — often creating fragmented interfaces and dispersed data.
Unlike cloud-based solutions, which rely on connectivity and may compromise the confidentiality of technical information, Next AI-Integrated System introduces a new paradigm: a self-contained digital brain that operates locally and autonomously.
With Next AI-Integrated System, the Owner’s privacy is fully protected: all data and conversations remain entirely on board.
Core processes are handled locally, while 5G/WAN connectivity is optional and used solely for read-only remote access.
The first release, debuting at FLIBS with live demonstrations and real-world applications aboard an AB 110, will introduce a text-based chat assistant integrated into the My AB and My Maiora apps, the main interfaces for interacting with the AI.

“With this highly innovative project, we are redefining the onboard experience,” said Giorgio Mattei, Deputy Chairman of Next Yacht Group.
“For an Owner, true luxury means simplicity and control. We’re introducing an assistant that operates anytime, anywhere — even in the middle of the ocean — safely, continuously, and reliably.
It’s an Artificial Intelligence that belongs to the yacht and its family, not to the cloud.
Our local-first approach keeps data, models, and decisions entirely on board.
The AI delivers verifiable responses, secure commands, and deep integration with all yacht systems.
Our development roadmap already includes future upgrades, such as always-on voice activation with a dedicated wake word and predictive maintenance features.”
The Next AI-Integrated System is a proprietary innovation by Next Yacht Group and will be available across the entire yacht range starting in 2026.
