Maiora 36 Exuma: harmony of shapes, spaces, and materials that inspire emotion

The Maiora 36 Exuma introduces a new design language where balanced lines, refined materials, and exceptional performance come together in an invitation to rediscover time and space — in perfect harmony with light and the sea.

Maiora 36 Exuma: harmony of shapes, spaces, and materials that inspire emotion

Viareggio, October 14, 2025 – For over fifty years, Maiora, part of Next Yacht Group, has embodied freedom, elegance, and a forward-looking vision of life at sea. The new 36 Exuma continues this heritage, combining refined aesthetics, comfort, performance, and generous volumes to redefine the onboard experience within its category.

Conceived as a living space rather than just a vessel, the 36 Exuma expresses continuity between interior and exterior through fluid lines, high-end materials, and a coherent, functional layout. Its soft curves and balanced proportions create an architecture that resonates with those who live the sea, offering a unique sense of harmony and authenticity.

Measuring 36.90 meters in length with a 7.90-meter beam, the yacht extends across four decks and accommodates up to 12 guests, featuring an Owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins—including a superior second master and a VIP—on the lower deck with sea views. The crew quarters include three cabins for up to five members.

The exterior design bears the signature of Quartostile, while Acube Design curated the interiors, reinterpreting the concept of lightness through a fresh, contemporary approach.
Powered by three MJP waterjets, the 36 Exuma reaches a top speed of 33 knots, combining remarkable agility with superior onboard comfort and near-total silence. She embodies Maiora’s vision of modern yachting — elegant, powerful, and emotionally engaging.

EXTERIOR LINES

Born from the collaboration between Maiora and Quartostile, the 36 Exuma features an iconic and sophisticated silhouette that fuses dynamism, purity of form, and advanced functionality.
The design responds to a dual ambition: to align with Maiora’s renewed aesthetic direction — characterized by linearity, tension, and presence — while also enhancing onboard livability and comfort with innovations such as a full-beam bow and a stern redesigned as a genuine waterfront lounge.

The exterior lines are the result of an in-depth design study that maximizes every available cubic centimeter within the 300 GT threshold. The profile flows horizontally, with expanding volumes toward the bow, highlighted by a full-beam superstructure that amplifies the yacht’s presence and solidity. The sharp vertical bow communicates strength and speed, while the sculpted sides taper gently toward the stern, achieving a balance of elegance and dynamism.

Generous glass surfaces and uninterrupted sightlines between inside and outside create a seamless connection with the sea, enhancing both natural light and the sense of openness.
Functional details become essential design features: integrated aft chaise longues blur the boundary between living and ocean, while a suspended bow net, inspired by sailing yachts, creates a unique relaxation zone and channels natural light into the owner’s suite.

The new Exuma embodies a masterful balance of form, function, and emotion. Majesty, fluidity, and livability intertwine to transform this yacht from a work of design into a true habitable experience in dialogue with the sea.

INTERIORS

Developed by Acube Design in collaboration with the Next Yacht Group Style Department, the interiors of the 36 Exuma express a contemporary and material language rooted in coherence and elegance.
Soft curves and fluid transitions guide the eye and movement, while natural textures and a warm, neutral palette evoke a timeless atmosphere. Premium leathers, fine woods, natural fabrics, and polished marble surfaces come together in a composition of understated sophistication.

The result is an interior concept where aesthetic balance meets functional flexibility, offering fluid spaces that can be easily customized to reflect the owner’s personality while maintaining the yacht’s distinctive identity.
The wheelhouse has been completely reimagined as a technologically advanced command center — an ergonomic, cinematic space offering maximum visibility and control throughout every phase of navigation.

MAIN DECK

The main deck opens onto an expansive beach area designed as a natural extension of the sea, featuring comfortable lounge seating and a large teak-framed sunpad that visually recalls a sculptural chaise longue. A curved teak detail links this space with the cockpit and salon, creating a sense of visual and material continuity — a signature trait of Maiora design.

A twin staircase leads to the raised cockpit, providing additional storage below and creating a flexible social area customizable to the owner’s lifestyle.
Inside, a bright and spacious salon welcomes guests with a flush-deck layout that eliminates steps and enhances accessibility. A generous lounge area and a redesigned bar counter with sculptural, flowing lines define the heart of the main deck.
The iconic Infinity Door, a fully retractable glass partition, extends the view from stern to bow, immersing guests in an unbroken panorama of sea and light.

Full-height windows along the sides flood the interiors with natural illumination and establish a seamless connection with the surrounding environment.

At the bow, the full-beam Owner’s suite offers a refined private retreat, complete with a study area, a spacious bathroom, and 270° panoramic views of the horizon.

LOWER DECK

The lower deck is dedicated to guests and crew, optimized for comfort, functionality, and acoustic isolation.
The guest area includes two VIP cabins and two guest suites, all illuminated by large hull windows that ensure continuous contact with the sea.

The transversal garage, stretching from beam to beam, accommodates a 6.25-meter tender, while the aft garage houses water toys and a jet ski with its own crane. The arrangement minimizes vibration and noise transfer between the engine room and the guest quarters.

The crew area benefits from the vertical bow design, creating more usable volume forward. It includes three cabins for five crew members, separate pathways for privacy, and optimized technical areas. A comfortable crew lounge with a dining table, relaxation corner, TV, and integrated monitoring systems ensures a pleasant and efficient working environment.

UPPER DECK

The upper deck serves as the heart of onboard life — a space where design and functionality merge effortlessly.

The “Al Fresco” salon, equipped with aft Infinity Doors and fully opening side windows, transforms into a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea. The 360° view and natural ventilation create an atmosphere of freedom and connection with the elements, while the enclosed mode offers a climate-controlled retreat for any weather.

The helm station is located on this level, designed for maximum visibility and intuitive control.
Forward, a panoramic pool partially recessed into the deck is surrounded by a generous sunbathing area that invites guests to unwind. Completing the experience is a suspended bow net, a unique feature offering the sensation of floating between sky and sea.

SUN DECK – NEST

At the highest level, the Sun Deck reveals an intimate outdoor retreat, envisioned as a “Nest” suspended above the water.
A serene space dedicated to privacy and contemplation, it offers uninterrupted views of the horizon — the ultimate refuge for those seeking silence and connection with nature.

Powered by three MJP waterjets, the Maiora 36 Exuma glides across the water with effortless smoothness, reaching 33 knots in near-total silence and without vibration.

At only 180 tons, remarkably light for her size, and with a draft of just 1.45 meters, she can easily access shallow coves and untouched coastlines — from Mediterranean bays to the crystal-clear waters of the Exumas, from which it takes its name.

A flawless balance of technology, performance, and comfort, the Maiora 36 Exuma invites you to rediscover the rhythm of time and space — experiencing the sea in perfect harmony with it surrounding beauty.
